SERVICES FOR CHARLES J. HORN THIS AFTERNOON

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) for Charles J. Horn, lifelong resident of the Herman community. Mr. Horn died Monday at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

He was born in the Herman area and lived there all of his life. He was 82 years of age at his death. Until his retirement some time ago, he was engaged in farming. His wife preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son, Willis, who lives in Omaha. There are no other children.

Two brothers survive. They are William Horn and Joseph Horn, both living at El Monte, California. A sister, Mrs. Neval Young, lives at Akron, California.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Herman with the Rev. Zack Kleinsasser conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Hone, will be made in the Herman Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Karl Christensen, Gilbert Potadle, Fritz Effken, Vernon Clements, A. I. Magill and Melvern West.
