Funeral services for Dewey Holstein were held Saturday, July 15 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Scahill officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
Dewey Holstein, 91, of Blair, died Thursday, July 13, 1989, at the Memorial Community Hospital. He was born on April 17, 1898 at Herman, Nebraska to Christian and Christine Paulsen Holstein and attended the Spiker School.
He married Edna Hovendick on February 2, 1922 in Omaha. Dewey farmed and was in the trucking business in the Fremont and Washington County area. He was a member of the Fremont Eagles Aerie No. 200 and First United Methodist Church of Fremont.
Dewey is survived by his wife, Edna, daughter, Ruby Holstein, both of Kansas City, Missouri; and one sister, Hattie Skov of Iowa.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
