Always had a Joke or Story to Tell

Former Blair resident Gary W. Bartley, 70, of Galena, Mo., died April 28, 2011. A memorial service is planned at a later date.

Mr. Bartley loved to work with his hands and to fish. He enjoyed teaching his grandsons to work with wood and taking them fishing. He always had a story or a joke to tell.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; children, Starla and Jim Lund of Crescent City, Calif., Joe Bartley of Austin, Texas, Denise and Jim Dein of Blair; four grandsons, Bryce Lund, Josh Siciunas, Jack Dein and Jordan Bartley; one granddaughter, Tinessa Lund; many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Della Bartley; and daughters, Lana Bartley and Linda Siciunas.
