FORMER KENNARD RESIDENT DIED
Leon S. Hitchcock, 74 years of age, of Kansas City, died Saturday in a Kansas City hospital.
Mr. Hitchcock, a former Kennard resident, is survived by his wife, four daughters and one son.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday in Kansas City.

FORMER KENNARD RESIDENT IS DEAD
Leon S. Hitchcock, of Kansas City, died in a hospital there Saturday evening. He was 74 years old. Mr. Hitchcock had lived in the Kennard vicinity a number of years ago and was well known there.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha, 4 daughters and one son. There are eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren, all living in the Kansas City area.
Four sisters also survive. They are Mrs. Myrtle Leonard, Mrs. Pauline Johnson, Mrs. Fern Hitchcock, all of Omaha and Mrs. Ethel Johnson, of Kennard.
Funeral services were held in Kansas City Tuesday afternoon.
