Mrs. Olive Gossard Succumbs At Age 91
Mrs. Nancy McConnaha has received word of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Olive Gossard, 91, of Wayne. Mrs. Gossard is the widow of the late Anzi Gossard, formerly of near Herman. Mrs. Gossard died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carence Sorensen, at Wayne. She was the daughter of Nelson and Nancy Bovee and was born in Illinois. She came to Nebraska as a small child in a covered wagon and grew to womanhood west of Herman. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Cora Clark and Mrs. Minnie Hancock, both of Craig. Funeral rites for Mrs. Gossard were held at 2:30 Wednesday at the Methodist Church in Wayne.
