FORMER ARLINGTON LADY DIED AT GRAND ISLAND
Mrs. Mary Holtman, formerly of Arlington, passed away on June 21 at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was 85 at the time of her death.
Burial was at the Salem Lutheran Cemetery with services at the Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. Rev. Jackson Sherwood officiated with Reckmeyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Holtman is survived by her husband Adolph, of Grand Island, son Richard of Arlington, daughter Mrs. Earl (Anita) Nelson of Arlington, sister, Mrs. Robert (Sophie) Elij in Colorado and four grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Holtman were married on February 11, 1920 at Fontanelle, Nebraska. Mrs. Holtman was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, the Arlington V.F.W August of Arlington and the Fontanelle Garden Study Club.
A memorial has been established for the Salem Lutheran Church in Mrs. Holtman's name.
