Ernest Bohs, 84

Services for Ernest “Perk” Bohs, 84, who died at Crowell Memorial Home December 11, 1991 will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 1991 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Ernest C. Bohs was born October 21, 1907 near Blair to Andrew and Sarah Tranberg Bohs. On April 21, 1935 he married Velma Mundorf in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He helped operate the Bohs Oil Company until 1941, at which time he assumed the ownership and operation of the company until retiring in August of 1967.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sally Delaney; two brothers, Carl and T.A. Bohs; and two half sisters, Anna Johnson and Helen West.

He is survived by his wife, Velma; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley (Mrs. Neil) Moore, Charleston, Illinois; two granddaughters, Sarah and Cindy Delaney; one grandson, Tom Delaney; son-in-law, Tom Delaney, Jakarta, Indonesia and nephews and nieces.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
