Russell Thompson, aged nine years, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Thompson, in Omaha last Saturday morning and the body was brought here the same day for preparation and the funeral held at the Baptist Church at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon. Rev. Arthur D. Smalley officiating. The little fellow had been a sufferer from a tumor on the brain for some time, an operation being impossible because of its location. He was a very lovable and obedient lad and it was a hard blow on the parents to lose him, but even such a short life was not in vain, for he called forth so much of love, the greatest thing in the world.
