SERVICES ARE ON FRIDAY FOR EMMA BORCHERS
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 22, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bennington for Mrs. Emma Borchers, 66, of Bennington, who died October 20, 1982, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.
The Rev. Norman E. Schroeder will conduct the services. Burial will be in the German Cemetery.
Emma Borchers was born March 19, 1916, in Columbus, Nebraska, to John and Elizabeth Schreiber, who farmed near Monroe. She married Walter Borchers.
She is survived by her husband, Walter, of Bennington; and one son, Darwin W. Borchers, Omaha. Three brothers, John Schreiber, Columbus; David Schreiber, Monroe, Nebraska; and August Schreiber, Lincoln; and a grandson, Billy Borchers, Omaha, also survive her.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
