William H. Boyd, 74, of Blair, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at his home.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at the Fort Calhoun Baptist Church. Burial is in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery with military honors conducted by Fort Calhoun American Legion Post #348.
He was a member of the V.F.W. and Volunteers at Immanuel Hospital.
On June 12, 1943, he married Gleatha Vice in Omaha.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Judith E. Boyd of Blair; sisters, Dorothy Aronson and Mabel Dobney, both of Omaha; grandchildren, Cynthia and David Vogt of Blair, Craig Boyd of Fort Calhoun and Jason and Karen Boyd of Blair, and a great-granddaughter, Jessica Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gleatha, two brothers, Everett and James; and a sister, Honey.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
