Funeral services were Monday, January 22 at Arlington Community Church in Arlington for Meta Bradford, Arlington who died January 18, 1990 at the Fremont Care Center in Fremont. Rev. Robert Saunders officiated. Burial was at the Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Nebraska.

Meta Bradford was born May 27, 1899 in Wakefield, Nebraska. She grew up at Wakefield and moved to Arlington in 1941 from Blair. She had lived at the Fremont Care Center since October, 1976.

She was a member of Arlington Community Church, the Church Circle, and was a member of the Arlington American Legion Auxiliary.

She married Lee Martin Bradford May 25, 1921 at LeMars, Iowa. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1975.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dora Kloth Hinrich; a son, Lee Martin, Jr.; brothers, Charles Hinrich, Paul Hinrich, Harry Hinrich, Otto Hinrich and Gus Hinrich; and sisters, Nettie Mader, Clara Hinrich, Edna Koonce, Ella Stacey and Dora Carlbert.

She is survived by son, Gerald Bradford of Peoria, Arizona; daughters, Nadine (Mrs. Eldon) Meier of Nickerson, Elaine (Mrs. Leland) Grabbe of Herman, Marjorie (Mrs. Bob) Cook of Cave Creek, Arizona and Mrs. Bonnie Harrington of Lincoln; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Irene Hinrich of Hillsboro, Oregon; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James Grabbe, Paul Grabbe, Mark Grabbe, Ted Brown, Ray Dean Harrington and Jerry Bradford.

Ruby House was organist. Melvin Misfeldt was soloist.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
