Survived by wife of 52 years, Florence; sons, Bret, Bart (Tammy, Mark (Kris), and Chuck (Kathy); 3 grandsons; Ben, Ryan and Jacob; 6 granddaughters, Laura and husband Mitch; Crystal, Katie, Michelle, Molly and Kalli; sister, Janice Hughes; many nieces and nephew. Born June 28, 1932 in Hamilton, OH. Served in the military, Korean War 51-54. Founder of Pettit Pastries.

Viewing Friday Noon to 8 P.M. & visitation with the family 6-8 P.M. Funeral Saturday 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment Kennard, NE Cemetery. Military honors by Millard Amer. Legion #374 and VFW #8334. In lieu of flowers memorials to American Diabetes Association.
