Mark Brand, 93, of Blair, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at his home in Blair.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair. There is no visitation planned.

Mark Brand was born Sept. 22, 1913, in Breeze, Ill., to Martin and Anna (Foppe) Brand. He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War.

He married on Nov. 22, 1938.

Mr. Brand is survived by his wife, Lucy; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Brand of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Bill Thomas of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren; brother, Odie Brand, and sister Lois Daily.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
