Lavern Victor Ward died May 14, 2018.
Lavern was born November 9, 1927 and worked for MUD for 40 years.
He is preceded in death by parents and 6 siblings; Jerome Ward, Helen Bendixen, Ione Pope, Ruth Bax, Mary Ann Christianson, and Marjorie Peetz.
He is survived by wife of 69 years, Betty Ward; 4 children: Cheryl Ward and Tim Mathes, Terry (Wanda) Ward, Skip Ward and Velvet Wilson, and Janice Ward VonHeim; 4 grandchildren: Stephanie (Nathan) Herndon, Libby (Ross) Wiseman, Gina VonHeim, and Yana VonHeim; 5 great-grandchildren: Trevor, Cody, Taylee, Lucy, and Molly; many nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 from 5-7 at Kremer Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 23rd, at 10:30am at Kremer Funeral Home Kremer Funeral Home, 6302 Maple St., Omaha.
