FORMER BLAIRITE BURIED FRIDAY
Funeral services were held Friday at the Blair Methodist Church for George Brandt, 74, of Holyoke, Colo., a former Washington County resident, who died Sunday, Aug. 30th.
The Rev. Dale Westadt officiated with interment in the German Cemetery near Bennington.
Mr. Brandt is survived by his wife, Mary, sister, Mrs. Anna Schneider of Omaha; brother, Claus Brandt of Blair. He was born August 26, 1890 at Blair and moved to Holyoke a few years ago.
Pallbearers were Herman Meeves, Claus Wrigg, Ben Lambrecht, Chris Klotz, Richard Japp and Henry Weise.
Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
