CLARENCE BRANDERT SERVICES ARE ON THURSDAY
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Immanuel Lutheran Church east of Winslow for Clarence H. Brandert, 79, of Hooper who died suddenly June 5, 1983, in Hooper.
The Rev. Rodney Meske is officiating. Burial is in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Clarence H. Brandert was born in the Fontanelle area April 17, 1904.
He farmed for 45 years before retiring and moving to Hooper in 1972. He was also a DeKalb Seed dealer.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Layman's League. He was a past long-time member of the school board of School District No. 43.
He married Olinda Beerman on September 11, 1938.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clayton.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Vernon, of Hooper; and one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Tonjes of Hooper; six grandchildren; one brother, Harold of Hooper; and one sister, Mrs. Alice Stork of Arlington.
