FUNERAL: 10:30am Thursday at Florence Presbyterian Church in Omaha. VISITATION: Wednesday at Campbell Aman Funeral Home beginning at 3pm with family receiving friends from 6-8pm. David D. Allen, age 81, passed away May 27, 2018, at his home in Blair. Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m., at Florence Presbyterian Church in Omaha. A luncheon will follow services. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, beginning at 3 p.m., with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at a later date.

David was born on March 3, 1937, in Blair, the son of Rollo and Dorothy (Christensen) Allen. David graduated from Blair High School and later graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife, Lynne Jackson; children, Kaye (Rick) Amend, Nancy (Paul) Thole, Steve (Michele) Allen, and Julie (Trayton) Pitts; step-children, Amy (Scott Love) Mitchell, and Tony Polak. Granddaughter; Courtney Allen; step-grandchildren, Robbie Mitchell, Zach Meyers, Miiah Lynne Sole, and Noah Mitchell; brother, Mark (Martha) Allen; and niece and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Florence Presbyterian Church.
