Fred Perkins
Published in the Blair Courier March 22, 1900
Fred Perkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Perkins, died last Monday morning of softening of the brain. He began to fail some five of six years ago and death came as a welcome release. Rev. Corey conducted the funeral services at the home and the Knights of Pythias at the cemetery. For years he has been a great burden to the family but they have borne it with a heroism that is highly commendable.
Note-The Vig Files at the Danish American Achieves in the records of Alonzo Perkins have Fred Perkins born in January 1866 and 1876 and the date of death March 19, 1900; buried in the Blair Cemetery Block 16, Lot 3.
