J. BRINKMAN, 72, DIED IN ALASKA
A former Arlington man, John Brinkman, died May 1, 1966 at Veterans Hospital, Anchorage, Alaska, after a lingering illness. He was 72 years old.
Mr. Brinkman was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brinkman, who operated brickyards at the west edge of Arlington.
He lived in Nakamute, Alaska for 45 years. He was a veteran of World War I, member of VFW post of Anchorage and Ham Radio Operators of America.
Survivors are his wife, Alta, of Nakumute, Alaska; brother, Harry, Flat, Alaska; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Laursen, Fremont, Nebr.; Mrs. Paul Stimbert, Hawthorne, Calif.
He was buried in the military section of Anchorage City Cemetery.
