Mrs. Mary McCracken died last Saturday, the 24th, after a protracted illness. Funeral service was held at the M. E. Church in this village on Monday, 26th., at 2 o’clock, P. M., Rev. Jansen, of Florence conducted the services. Deceased was a native of Virginia and had been a resident of Kennard upwards of 35 years and highly respected by all who knew her. She was 65 years of age at the time of her death.
