A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 27 at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington for Lloyd C. Brown, 93 of Fremont and formerly of Arlington, who died August 22, 1994 at the Fremont Care Center in Fremont. Rev. Lee Milligan of the Arlington Community Church and Mrs. Shirley Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Lloyd C. Brown was born November 9, 1900 in rural Arlington. He grew up and lived in the rural Arlington area where he was a farmer and dairyman.

He retired and moved into Arlington in 1965. He then moved to Fremont in July, 1989.

He was a member of Arlington Community Church in Arlington.

He married Odessa M. Svengard November 25, 1919 at Omaha. She preceded him in death December 8, 1989.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, Frank W. and Ida Anderson Brown; a son, Ronald Brown and a brother, Lawrence Brown.

He is survived by three sons, LeRoy Brown of Fremont, Donald Brown of Boca Raton, Florida and Robert Brown of Arlington; a daughter, Eunice Arthur of Fremont; a sister, Irene Berry of Illinois; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be directed to the access fund for Arlington Community Church.
