CLARK BROWNING DIES JULY 10TH
Clark Browning died shortly after entering the Blair Community Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 10th. He was 80 years of age.
Mr. Browning was born at Irvington on November 16, 1885. He was a farmer during his younger years and after retiring and moving to Blair he served on the police force for a short time.
His wife, Carrie Louise, died July 5th, 1961. He is survived by two sons, Francis W. Browning of San Diego, California and John T. Browning of Kasota, Minnesota. Also, 13 grandchildren and one brother Alvin of Bancroft.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday afternoon, July 14th at the Bendorf Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Atherton will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Elmer Thone Sr., Jack Wachter, Robert Jensen all of Herman, Lester Stanley of Ft. Calhoun, Andrew Alback and Cecil Brandt of Blair.
