Velma Olson, 95, of St. Edward, formerly of Genoa, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward.

Velma is survived by son; Gary (Diane) Hollman of Lincoln, son; Rev. Vern (Cindy) Olson of St. Edward, son; Dr. Charles (Karen) Olson of Waterloo, daughter; Lois Olson of Lincoln, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister; Doreen Mohr of Columbus, many nieces and nephews. Velma was preceded in death by husband; Vernon Keith Olson, parents; Oscar & Lillie Pace, brothers; Pearl, Don, George, and Virgil Pace, sisters; Ethel Ostrander and Eileen Pace.

The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 24, at Genoa United Methodist Church with Rev. Murry Jay Johnston officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be on from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday at Ramaekers Patrick Funeral Chapel and from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. with a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m. on Monday at the church.
