Oldest Pioneer Dies April 18

Mrs. Sarah Haller, past 98 years of age, passed away at the Blair Hospital this (Thursday) morning at 3 o’clock.

Deceased was born in England December 26th, 1841. When a child she came with her parents to Fort Calhoun where she grew to womanhood.

Three daughters are left to mourn her death, Mrs. A. G. Allen, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Nettie Stockton of Schuyler, Nebraska; and Mrs. V. J. Smith of South Dakota.

As yet no arrangements have been made for the burial rites, but it will probably be Sunday.
