JOHN EKWALL FOUND DEAD IN CHAIR

John Ekwall of near Nashville was found dead sitting in his chair on Wednesday of last week. His neighbor had brought him his daily paper when the discovery was made.

Deceased was born in Saunders County and was 76 years of age. In his earlier life he followed the trade of furniture repairing. About twenty-five years ago he moved to the Nashville neighborhood where he has since resided.

Funeral services were held last Sunday at the Fick Funeral Home and interment was made in the Calhoun cemetery.
