JUNE FLETCHER PASSES AWAY HERE SUNDAY; BORN IN COUNTY IN 1874; TAUGHT IN COUNTY AND BLAIR SCHOOLS

A native of the New England school district of this county, Miss June Fletcher passed away last Sunday after an illness of but four days.

Deceased was born June 7, 1874 and had she lived would have been 64 years of age at her next birthday. She was educated in the schools of Washington County and later taught for a number of years in the rural school and also ten years in Blair.

After dropping her teaching work she was for a number of years in the employ of P. Z. Wilson. She was a member of the local Baptist church ad always lived the life of a true Christian.

She leaves to mourn her death one brother, Bryan Fletcher of Whittier, California, who is here for the last sad rites and a sister, Mrs. Lulu Cushman, of Blair, at whose home she passed away.

Funeral services are being held from the local Baptist church this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock and burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery.
