Catharine M. Dein, 76, of Blair, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Blair Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home on Tuesday beginning at 1 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Catharine Marie Strenger was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Omaha to Harold A. and Grace (Carpenter) Strenger.
She resided in Blair for many years. She owned and operated her own painting and wallpapering company, and helped manage the family farm.
She is survived by two sons, Tom Dein of Blair, and Glenn Dein of Fort Calhoun; daughter, Peggy Bowser of Fort Calhoun; six grandchildren, Tonya Dowling, Jason, Sara and Seth Dein, Rachel and Andy Bowser; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Dottie Strenger of Fremont, Howard and Cheryl Strenger of Anchorage, Alaska; ex-husband, Wayne Dein; and special friend, Lyle Shipley.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Dein.
