He held a wide acquaintance in this city and had many friends who thought very highly of him. While attending the schools, he starred in athletics and for a number of years he was also a stellar performer on the town grid team. For some time he had been employed with his brother, George, in a garage at Silver City.
Surviving him are his bereaved mother, Mrs. E. M. Carlson of Omaha; five sisters, Mrs. Nels Paulsen and Mrs. Menno Good of Blair; Mrs. Morris Jensen of Greeley, Colorado, Mrs. Harold Ryan of Herman and Miss Dora Carlson of Omaha; two brothers, Verner of Omaha and George of Silver City, Iowa. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church at 2;00 o’clock yesterday afternoon with the Revs. W. H. Underwood and Carl G.
