Mildred Babe Lashmet was born at Newport, Nebraska December 9, 1910 and died at Gary, Indiana last Tuesday. She lived in Nebraska until 1925 when she moved to Gary with her mother. She was of a sunny disposition and held a wide acquaintance in this city. A funeral service was conducted at Gary, after which the body was shipped to Tekamah for interment. She leaves to mourn her loss her father, M. J. Lashmet of Omaha, her mother, Mary V. Lashmet of Gary; two brothers, C. E. Lashmet of Sioux City and E. S. Lashmet of San Diego, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Don Walbridge and Mrs. Ted Foster of Gary. Also her fiancé, Walter Bailey of Gary, who with her father and sister, Mrs. Walbridge, accompanied the remains to Tekamah.
