ARLINGTON MAN DIES FRIDAY
Martin Clark Was Pioneer Resident of County
Martin Clark died at his home in Arlington last Friday evening following an illness of about five years’ duration. He was born January 25, 1865 at Abington, Ill., and in November, 1885, he was married to Miss Elizabeth Pool at Abington. Two years later they came to Nebraska, locating at Fremont, but after two years they removed to Arlington where they have since resided.
Surviving him besides his wife are his children, Mrs. Will Adams of Arlington, Harvey L. of Denver, Ray and Mrs. C. V. Christensen of Chicago, Mrs. A. M. Graham of Emporia, Kans., Mrs. G. A. Sweeney of Ravenna, Floyd, Fae and Merle at Home; a brother, John of Fremont, two sisters, Mrs. Jim Dickerson of Fremont and Mrs. Charles Lee of Alberta, Canada. Funeral services were held from the Arlington Congregational church at 2:00 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. J. E. Aeschbacher officiating, after which interment was made in Arlington cemetery.
