PROMINENT HERMAN LADY DIES
Mrs. A. J. Cameron, 54, wife of Dr. A. J. Cameron, died at her home in Herman, Neb. Tuesday morning at six o’clock following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Cameron came to Herman from her home in Canada as a bride in 1901. She was active in the American Legion auxiliary and Eastern Star and in the affairs of the Methodist church throughout the period of her residence in Herman, and was beloved throughout the community for her kindly nature.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John Sidner of Tekamah, who has been with her mother almost constantly for the past several weeks; two brothers, Friend and Furz Eckles, both of Chicago; her mother, Mrs. Eckles and a sister, Mrs. Annie Kent of Manitoba, Canada.
Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the home in Herman.
