CHRIS OERMAN PASSES

Chris Oerman, an early settler and prominent farmer in the Tacoma neighborhood in this county, passed away at one ten o’clock on Tuesday morning following a stroke of paralysis and about a week’s illness. Deceased was past sixty five years of age at his death. His wife preceded him about six years ago. He leaves to mourn him two sons, Herbert, who lives on the home farm and Lawrence, who lives on the site of old Vacoma.

Mr. Oerman was a man of more than ordinary ability and a gentleman at all times, and the sons have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood in their bereavement.

Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon at the home, and interment made in the Hartung cemetery in the west part of the county.
