Thursday, Mrs. Geo. Sheets had word from Howard, S. D. that her brother, Julius Christensen, was seriously ill following an operation. Early Friday morning she received another message telling of his death that night. Mr. Sheets, accompanied by the father, Andrew Christensen of Blair, drove to Howard Friday, and were present at the funeral Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Sheets went to Blair and stayed with her mother, who was not well enough to go.
