#1-16 May, 1904 - The Pilot - Louis Earl Clements
We are called upon to record the death of Earl Clements, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Clements, who reside near Tekamah. It seems that on last Friday evening Earl fell from a horse, which injured him internally and after a few days illness caused his death last Monday morning. He was a strong, energetic boy, full of life and ambition, and when we stop to think, our dear Master surely has some object in view in calling this bright one home. During his life here among us we remember him as a good, conscientious boy, and his many friends here will be sorry to learn of his demise. His burial took place in the Herman cemetery last Tuesday afternoon, surrounded by a large number of friends and relatives. The grief-stricken parents have the sympathy of their many friends in this vicinity in their sad hour of affliction.
