GEORGE ROY DOWDEN

George Roy Dowden, well known in Blair where he resided for many years, passed away at Norfolk, Nebr. Dec. 21, 1932 at the age of 52 years, 2 months and 10 days.

Deceased suffered a stroke several years ago, from which he never recovered, and from the effects of which he finally died.

He leaves a mother, Mrs. H. M. Dowden of Blair and two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Peak of Blair and Mrs. Carl Treffer of Rockville, Nebr. to mourn his death.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the home of Mrs. Chas. Peak in Blair with Rev. Walter H. Jackson of the local Methodist church officiating, and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
