DIES OF BLOOD POISONING
Joseph James Dellinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dillinger, passed away Monday morning in an Omaha hospital at the age of three years and seven months. The little fellow suffered from an infection of the bone which turned into blood poisoning.
Besides the grief-stricken parents, he leaves an older sister and a younger sister and brother.
The funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the home, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

ILL SHORT WHILE, LITTLE BOY DIES-STEPHEN JAMES DELINGER, 3 ½ YEARS OLD, BURIED ON TUESDAY
Stephen James Delinger, three and one-half year old son of Mrs. and Mrs. Warren Delinger of Blair, died Monday, August 8, in an Omaha hospital after a brief illness. Ill only a short time, the little boy, who was an attractive, curly-haired youngster, was a general favorite in his neighborhood, both among his playmates and his elders. News of his unexpected death came as a sorrowful surprise to the neighborhood in which he lived.
Stephen James was born in Blair on January 31, 1929. In addition to his parents, two sisters, Edith and Bessie Maude, survive him. Also surviving the child are his grandparents on both sides of the family, Mr. and Mrs. James Delinger and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Dillard.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Delinger home with Rev. W.H. Jackson, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
