OMAHA SUICIDE HOLDS LOCAL INTEREST
Wednesday’s Omaha papers contained a notice of the suicide of Willard Bigford, 21 years old, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur S. Bigford of 6507 North 37th. The parents of the boy lived in Blair years ago, his mother was Jessie Hindley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hindley, old settlers here, now deceased. She is a sister of Carl Hindley of this city. His father, Arthur Bigford is a brother of Mrs. Edgar Skinner of near Herman. The cause of the suicide was said to be despondency over not being able to find work. He is survived by his parents, one brother, Edwin and sister, Marian of Omaha.
Funeral services will be held at the Swanson mortuary in Omaha Thursday June 9th at 2 p.m., and later at the grave in the Blair cemetery where interment will be made.
