Word was received here Friday of the death of Rev. John Koehler, 68 year old retired German Methodist minister, who will be remembered here as he supplied the German M. E. church about nine years ago. He was the last preacher the church had before joining with the M. E. church. Rev. Koehler had retired from the ministry, and was living with his daughter, Mrs. Jesse Zabel near Western. His death was due to injuries received when struck by an auto near his home on Thursday.
