FORMER BLAIR GIRL DIES IN SOUTH DAKOTA
Blair friends of Mrs. Mary Foss Stansbury were shocked to hear of her death which occurred Wednesday, March 16, at a Hot springs, South Dakota hospital following an operation Burial was made at her home at Crawford, Nebraska.
Mary Foss, as she was better known to Blair people, is the daughter of Mrs. Ellen Foss, former Blair resident and well know here. The deceased was born at Cody, Neb. October 3, 1888. She grew to womanhood in Blair and attended the city schools, graduating from the high school. She attended Peru Normal school and taught in the county and in Blair for several years. She was married in Feb., 1915 to Ray Stansbury, son of Rev. and Mrs. Geo. Stansbury, former pastor the Christian church in Blair.
She is survived by her husband and seven children, five sons and two daughters. She leaves also her mother, Mrs. Ellen Foss of Grand Island and one sister, Mrs. John Dingman of Denver, two brothers, Dan of Sioux City and Bryan of Omaha. Mrs. Wm. Hinkle of this city is her aunt.
