C. C. BUTTERFIELD, FORT CALHOUN, DIED FRIDAY

Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Chester C. Butterfield, 74 years of age, of Fort Calhoun, who died Friday at a Norfolk hospital.

The services were held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Jack Mauldin officiating, with interment in Fort Calhoun cemetery.

Mr. Butterfield, who was born July 2, 1892 at Beulah, Wyo., is survived by his wife, Clare; a son, Chet W. Butterfield of Fort Calhoun; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Irland of Olympia, Wash.; four grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Helen Fox of Norfolk and Mrs. Harry Felber of Palm Springs, Calif.; brothers, Lee Butterfield of Pilger and Ross Butterfield of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Pallbearers: Clare Thomas, Hans Kay, George Rohwer, Clarence Doty, Waldo Kruse and Neal Harrison, Jr.

The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
