Edna Ann Butts, 66, of Decatur, died Tuesday evening, April 5, 1988, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair after a sudden illness.
She was born on November 16, 1921, at Decatur to Riley D. and Murial E. (Deman) Lambert.
She was united in marriage to Wesley "Loyd" Butts on June 3, 1938 at Pender.
Mr. Butts died on February 9, 1988.
Edna was a member of the United Methodist Church at Decatur.
Survivors include two sons: Richard L. Butts of Garden Grove, California, and Joseph L. Butts of Severn, Maryland; one daughter, Nancy (Mrs. Gaylord) Pitt of Logan , Iowa; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Emma Cochran of Seattle, Washington, and one brother, Larry Lambert of Omaha.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services were held April 8, 1988, at the Decatur United Methodist Church with Rev. Marion H. Knoell officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery at Decatur.
Arrangements were handled by the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.
