JAMES OLIVER HUDLESON
Old time friends in Blair and vicinity will grieve to know that Oliver Hudleson passed away at his home in south Blair on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m. Deceased had been ill for three years following a paralytic stroke from which death finally resulted.
He was born Oct. 12, 1867 at Paoli, Indiana and later with his family moved to this county, and on Sept. 22, 1897 was married to Olive McKinney at Tekamah, Neb.
Of this union the survivors, beside the grief-stricken wife, are Lee Hudleson of Lincoln, Nebr., Mrs. Blanche Biffar of Potter, Nebr. and Mrs. T. A. Bohs of Blair, also two grandchildren besides a brother, Henry of Orleans, Indiana and a sister, Mrs. J. D. Williard of Sauk Center, Minn.
Deceased was well known in this vicinity where he has lived for years and has many friends who respected him for his sterling qualities as a man. Coming here at the early age of 14 years he has had the opportunity of noting the changes in the development of the county, and his wealth of knowledge of those early days was really remarkable.
The funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 15 at the Baptist church in this city, with Rev. Reese officiating, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
