Funeral services for Miss Anna Staben were held at the residence here Saturday afternoon. Deceased was born on a farm near Fort Calhoun and spent most of her life in and near this place. She passed away at her home November 11. Burial was made in the local cemetery. Out-of-town people who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Hans Staben of Louisville, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hofferman of Brownton, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ohrt, Mr. and Mrs. Timm Ohrt, Mrs. Tena Dessler, all of Bennington, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Fitch and Charles Young of Omaha.
