JOHN CLARK PASSES AWAY

John Clark, age 73 years, passed away last Thursday night at the home of Dick Stricklett on West South street. Mr. Clark was for years a resident of Arlington. He has a daughter residing in Chicago and a son residing in Omaha, both of whom grieve deeply his death.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Lund of the First Lutheran church, were held Monday afternoon at the Bendorf funeral parlors, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

Funeral services for a former resident of this place, John Clark, were held at Blair last week. Until a few weeks before his death Mr. Clark had made his home here for the past thirty five years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Clark of Omaha, one son, Elmer of Omaha, and a daughter, Mrs. William Casey of Chicago.
