Clyde French, 88, of Blair, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home Chapel. Private family graveside services will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Clyde French was born March 2, 1919, near Kennard to Fred and Jeannette (Kronberg) French. He received his elementary education at rural March School and graduated from Kennard High School.

Mr. French farmed near Kennard until 1968. He was employed by the Blair Manufacturing Company and later at Enterprise Publishing until his retirement.

He was a member of Country Bible Church in Blair. For the past several years, he had resided at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

He is survived by his nieces, JoAnn Hultberg and her husband, Richard, and Rosemary Chance and husband, Joe; cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Irma Thompson.

Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Home or County Bible Church.
