ILA MAE JOHNSON BURIED TUESDAY
Ila Mae Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Johnson, died at the Blair hospital about noon Sunday December 1, after an illness of several weeks. The little girl, who was three years old, had been taken there for treatment, had failed to respond to medical care, and her condition had become so weakened that her death had been expected momentarily.
Funeral services were held at the local Methodist Episcopal church on Tuesday at two o’clock, with the pastor of the church, Rev. D. A. McCullough officiating. Burial was made in the Blair cemetery.
Those who survive include the father and mother, one sister, Phyllis, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Crowdy of Blair and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Johnson of Orum, together with a number of aunts, uncles and other more distant relatives
