Services Held For Elizabeth Boe French
Funeral services were held Monday, September 13, at First Lutheran Church for Elizabeth Christine Boe French, 84, who died September 9, 1982, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.
The Rev. Carl Schattauer, Jr., and the Rev. Kurt Sortland conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.
Elizabeth Christine Boe French was born in Aabenraa, Denmark, December 4, 1897, to Christian and Cecilia Frees Bonde. A clerk at the variety store, she was married to William French. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Danish Brotherhood. She also belonged to First Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, Eric Boe, Blair, and Hans Boe, South Sioux City; and two daughters, Mrs. Cecilia Nelsen, Phoenix, Arizona, and Hildegard Breum Aabenraa, Denmark. Eleven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one sister also survive her.
Pallbearers were Lester McCann, Herbert Mobug, Bud French, Gene Mobug, Bob Juul and Harry Kohnk.
Clare Cowing was organist.
Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
