CHARLEY CLARK PASSES
Funeral services were held for Charley Clark Saturday afternoon. He passed away May 30 at the Masonic Home at Plattsmouth where he has lived since 1933. He was born at La Porte, Indiana September 18, 1857.

Charles W. Clark was born in LaPorte, Indiana, September 8, 1857, died at the Masonic Home in Plattsmouth, Nebr. May 30, 1935 at the age of 78 years.
The deceased was a son of pioneers of Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Newton Clark and when a child he was brought by them to Ft. Calhoun where he resided for almost 70 years. Mr. Clark located in Texas a few years ago where he remained until 1933 when he entered the Masonic Home at Plattsmouth. He is survived by one brother, Edward Clark, and one sister, Mrs. B. Fenner, both of Galveston, Texas.
Mr. Clark was a man of sterling character and a dependable worker whose friends were all with whom he became acquainted.
The body was brought to Ft. Calhoun where services were held in the Presbyterian Church Saturday afternoon. The local Masonic lodge, of which Mr. Clark was a charter member, had charge of the services, with Rev. Prentice delivering the sermon. Burial was in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.
