Mrs. Christian Andersen passed away at her home on eat South street on Wednesday, Feb. 21 a victim of anemia from which she had suffered for the past year.

Deceased was sixty-eight years of age. She was married to Christian Andersen at Admah, Nebr., this county, on Dec. 11, 1888 and to this union ten children were born five of whom are still living. They are Mrs. Henry Foley of Omaha, Mrs. Arthur Gustason of Blair, Mrs. Fred Young of Decatur, Andrew of Schuyler and Miss Edna of Blair.

For four years Mr. and Mrs. Andersen lived in Burt County and since then they have made their home in this county residing the past four years in Blair.

Besides the bereaved husband and the children she leaves a sister, Mrs. Hans Nelson and a half sister Miss Anna Andersen of Blair, and an adopted brother, John Andersen of Omaha and a brother, Walter Fredricksen of San Pedro, California and a step-father, Christian Andersen Noer of Blair.

Funeral services will be held from the First Lutheran church in this city at 2 o’clock p.m. Saturday with Rev. Lund officiating.
