Services For Lewis H. French Were Held On Saturday
Services for Lewis H. French, 57, were at 2 p.m. Saturday, from the Methodist Church in Arlington, with the Rev. Samuel J. Hemphill officiating.
Lewis H. French, 57, farmer near Arlington, died suddenly Tuesday night at a Fremont hospital. He had been ill two weeks.
Mr. French was born March 25, 1907, at Schuyler and farmed in that area until moving to Arlington in 1957. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Arlington.
On Feb. 28, 1928, he was married to Hazel A. Lueke, at Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Surviving, in addition to his widow, are three sons, Earl L. of Omaha, Richard V. of Gardena, Calif., and Dean M. of Fremont; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ina Mae) Muhle of Leigh; nine grandchildren; four brothers, William of Salem, Oregon, Geo., Albert and Robert, all of Schuyler, and two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Katherine) Schwyock of Salem, and Mrs. Sadie Pirrie of Loveland, Colo.
One sister and his parents preceded him in death.
A memorial to the Arlington Methodist Church was suggested by the family.
